The awkward introduction on both sides cheered Harry up greatly. It was comforting to meet somebody who shared his level of social awkwardness. "yeah... nice to meet you too" he replies to Duran warmly. Harry was about to think of something to say to keep the conversation going when they were approached by a handsome blonde boy.He must have been hot stuff at his old school Harry pondered. He just seems naturally sociable, and a lady pleaser. Harry thought conclusively.
As Harry listened to Duran and Eilian exchange remarks, he couldn't help but smile. "No, you hit the nail on the head - well not quite, but still" He addressed Ellian. "I don't like her, I barely know her!" He said, miserably failing to defend his integrity. "I guess I just sort of thought she was maybe interested... I don't know" He summarized, dejected. "She was the first person I talked to when I came here, and we went swimming in the ocean... I just don't know anything about girls to be honest..." He confessed. "And I have to admit I got a little bit jealous for a second there - but you're a really cool guy. I could see how she would be interested in talking to you." He finishes, sighing loudly.
