((OOC: Looks like we missed you, buckaroo. And, I dunno...I guess Min gets easily scorned like that. xD ))

Min was glad to be back in Edenia. The air had a different freshness compared to The Plain, yet it was still very clear and enjoyable. For some reason, the reak of technology did not plague the air here, like it did on Earth. When Min examined some of the passing vehicles, she finally understood why; they didn't run on gas, but some other source of energy. Granted, Min couldn't tell what that other energy was, but she couldn't smell that vile odor of gas being converted into fuel and released as pollution as she grew closer to the road. As she stood there pondering what exactly was used to power the vehicles, a slick car (if it could even be called that) drove up to the side of the road and honked at Min. Startled, Min watched as a pearly window was rolled down, and a man with sandy hair and dark brown eyes gazed out at her. He placed his arm out the window and gestured at what Min now understood to be Edenia's version of a taxi.

"Hello. I saw your little performance earlier, while I happened to be passing by. Never thought I would get to see the summoning of a gate, or a gatekeeper in the flesh." The man skimmed Min's appearance before continuing. "My, you sure know how to blend in, though. If I hadn't seen it with my own eyes, I would never guess that you were the gatekeeper of Edenia -- not that you don't look it! Well, then again, can't say I know what a gatekeeper looks like...at any rate, care for a ride to anywhere of your choice?"

"Actually, I would love to be taken to a library. Do you have any suggestions?"

Grinning, the man nodded and, getting out, opened the door for Min. She was shocked by how gracious the man was, but she grinned thankfully and slid into the taxi. The seats were soft and smooth, but they didn't look like they were made out of animals. That only proved how much more attached to nature and how respectful the people of Edenia were. As if reading her mind, the taxi driver replied, "We make sure the balance between nature and humans never shifts drastically. If we need to the assistance of nature in creating shelters and supplying food for us, we make sure that what we take is replenished immediately. Such is the way we live. Not that we judge other who don't live this way."

Min smiled, enjoying the lesson about Edenia and their lifestyle. She wanted to know more, and perserve their ideas and customs as much as possible. That's why she needed to head to the library -- any library, so long as it has the information she needed. Of course, knowing how much the driver had a keen eye for reading people, Min knew she was being taken to the right place.

((OOC: At this rate, everyone is going to find a book about something important and be all, "DON'T TOUCH MY BOOK!" xD ))
