Dungeon Fighter Online perhaps? I never bought junk from their cash shop but I am guessing its not unreasonable.
The only issue is there will be certain levels in the game where you won't be able to get quests but you may find the combat interesting enough to keep you interested.... Anyways with any of these games I suggest you just do a youtube preview first to at least give you an idea on what you're dealing with.
