umm why would we tutor you....are you paying me money and i REALLY recommend C++ for Dummies and Java for Dummies, i have both and basically when your done with them youll have a clue to do alot of things, maybe not take a step to making games but almost there.

The 'for dummies' books dont teach you anything. They just throw code at you and jump you into advanced stuff way to quick.

Listen kid, if you want us to tutor you, how about you post some questions about what your having problems with instead of saying "these tutorials of people that understand the language and probably have coded in it for months/years suck the balls off a camel".

So what problems do you have?

No offence but if you are taking the easy way out in the beggining I don't think you will be able to make a game without doing the same thing. To make a game it takes a lot of patience and there are some things people can not teach you. To reap the rewards you must first be willing to do the work.

Dont expect to read just one tutorial book and know programming, you gotta read alot of them, some of them may explain a certain thing better than another book.

If you dont understand a certain topic, google it. Google is how I learnt the basics of pointers, because I couldnt understand the book I had.

So you dont need a tutor to "dumb it down", you just need to stop being lazy and go look for a more understandable explanation.
