Ok,
I've seen loads of people asking around on here for this, well I used to so any ways here is a list.Free MMO Engines http://www.nebuladevice.org/ - this looks like a very nice 3D game engine and supports Client-Servers feature thingy etc. Not used it yet though www.splamm.com/elysium - One of my favorite engines, right now the big hit on the site is Elysium Diamond which is an awesome mmo creation engine. 2D mmo game engine open source programmed in VB www.miragesource.com - The game engine that started all the other VB 2D online game engines www.touchofdeathproductions.com - The eclipse engine closed source, in my opinion veyr noobish engine www.key2heavens.net/phoenix - Very good engine with lots of cool features http://orpgkings.com - lots of MMO creation resources www.thefmp.com/elysium - Elysium blue, it's ok I guess, also Greentail cna be found on there, both would not be my number 1 choice www.playerworlds.org - love their GUI not sure about their game engine though A couple other mentions would be VBGore which I forgot the link for and you'll be able to find loadz of other engines on these sites. Payed Engines: www.realmcrafter.com - very easy to use, 3D graphics getting a copy my self soon if your interested in helping me make a game with this just contact me at alig_aussiebloke91@Hotmail.com ![]() www.garagegames.com - home to the Torque Game Engine, very good and easy to use, I have a copy of that. www.blitzbasic.com - very good game engines using a programming language known as Blitz based off C++. This is what Realmcrafter is based on... I think. I also have a copy www.heroengine.com - not heard much about this nor does it show pricing on the site but looks like a very promising engine. www.bigworldtech.com - used to make some very ver amazingly good graphics etc online games. Very sexy engine but not sure of the price or licensing, all I know is that this thing costs alot and is for the big shot game making companies. Well that's all the game engines off the top of my head I'll keep updating. Also be sure to check out this site, very usefull for finding alot of game engines from mmos to jsut normal offline games. www.devmaster.net |

I would agree with that but for alot of people out there it's not easy buying an engine nor is buying one cheap, the best advice I could give is to get a simple and very stable engine, then at in your own codes from that.
