Dude, really, stop trying. Get the opinion of every MMO website on the net, and I guarantee that there will be a very small surplus of players that really do still enjoy RuneScape. It's bad, period. Also, the internet connection thing, People PC is really slow, I've had it, and getting a faster connection isn't cheap. Not to mention console games don't allow interaction with other people unless you pay for it, buy the few games that go online, or sit in a room with all your musty, sweaty, or pot smoking friends.

I'll never cease my insesent nagging on this topic !!! Because there are only the opinions six people so I will need more proof from people who acctually have played into the depths of the story by that i mean members because runescape grows everday so there must be something thats attracting these gamers time waster or not your still playing and how am I to be sure your not lying about that ten people story I mean said all your friends are musty potheads so why shouldnt i believe you arent one too and that your not just halucinating from the chronic jk but seriously i want some valid reasons not just the six that have been presented i want some real proof not some horse-wash i want the majority i want real opinions

Ok i was a member and first of all the graphics make your eyes bleed the sounds make your ears bleed.

And the pking isn't thrilling you attack someone and they run or eat some lobsters then teleport.

Then you got the community as soon as i started playing i see little 10 yr olds say looking for a gf then you see other little 10 year olds that dress up like girls that say looking for a bf.

Thats why it sucks

Well, I'm a member too. I started like 2-3 years ago when the community was much better, but still, I'm hooked. I can play more MMOs, I have GW, and have tried most other f2p MMOs, with a few p2p on the top, but for some reason they all we're out of my computer maximum a month after install. Anyways, yes, the graphics suck, on the free version (and part of the members). It is pretty amazing to see what there is in the latest updates, Including plenty free monsters that were updated and the latest quest, wich rocks

Anyways, let's compare. 5$ for a game, 1 update a week (except like 1 or 2 times an year), nice playability, the worst part of the community is f2p, so you wont hear about the "noobs" a lot (I don't), while on a normal game it's minimum 10$, sometimes the game even has a worse playability than this one and less features (Memebers world has so much stuff to do...) so you're actually only paying for better graphics and music... (There are some exceptions tough, none kept me hooked long enough tough)

Guildwars was the only game other than RS that hooked me for 2 months, due to it's innovative style, but other than that... I just unninstall it.

Just my 2 cents.

Well i think runescape is fun because you got lot of stuff to do and when you're bored you can hang around with your friend or go to castle war. 10 year old boy play at a girl doesn't make the game bad and it doesn't make it better. Pk is fun and scary sometime and In most game people run if they think they going to lose it common sense.

I'm glad to see for such a new thread the number of viewers is growing pretty quickly and I urge you passerbies to post your opinion whetther it be positive or negative. Now, if youve read my post so far on this topic you know that I am a runescape fan and I'd much rather hear good comments but, I've been hearing the same old reasons for why people dont like it sounds, graphics, and too many nubs. If you can be moved to become a member even with those things there must be something good about it. And in every game trheres always some loser looking for a gf, what jackassery !(got that from KoL lol). BTW i am and advid GW player and I must say that runescape has way more interesting and more challenging quest but I must admit the only purpose for Roleplaying is to unlock better stuff for pvp . Runescape also has way more fun events and and funny items. Conclusively, keep on postin peeps.

I think runescape is a decent game, but it's just a decent game

This may be wrong, but i think the only reason people bash runescape so much is becuase it's so highly over-rated.

And if it weren't so easilly acceseble, it wouldn't be popular at all

Runescape will have haters lovers hackers scammers and annoying people.

To be honest i thought runescape was pretty good but then i learned the community was horrible with all the people bashing it and all that stuff.
