Well, I just recently (about 10 min ago) got interested in this game when I saw some of the armor sets and a screenshot of a party attacking a monster 100x it's size
So I was wondering a few things:1. Are there cool quests? 2. Are there WASD controls? 3. Are there bosses and dungeons to go into? 4. Is there community helpful and friendly? Thanks! |

No. There are quests, but they are basically all the same (just with different monsters and NPCs). Office quests, the most common ones, are always exactly the same: "get <some number> of monster drops from <type of monster>". Other quests may involve talking to an NPC (often with funny translations) and/or transporting items from one NPC to another.

Giants aren't anything special, they are just bigger versions of the regular monsters, have A LOT more hitpoints, and do A LOT more damage. They also have a decent chance for item drops (not 100%, though --- you can still come up empty). No special attacks or anything, they work almost (I'm simplifying things here, but the special things are minor) exactly like their regular counterparts (which in turn are all the same as well except for graphics, and every now and then a monster type does a ranged attack instead of the usual melee one). Dungeons are the same as all the other areas, except that you can't fly through it, and they spawn a lot of aggro monsters there (normally monsters do not attack you unless you attack first, with a few monsters being aggro = they attack when someone gets too close. In the dungeons there's a lot more aggros). I don't know Dekane Mines yet, but Mas Dungeon (the "low" level one) also has a lot of giants/giant-style monsters in the central room. If it's just the "dungeon look" --- the area around Darkon Town is an underground cave system. You can fly through it, and it is a "normal" area in the sense that it doesn't have more aggros or giants than usual. Some players hunt giants (I do :-)), so how many giants there are really depends on how many players are trying to get a particular one :-) Giants do not immediately respawn when they are killed, so giant hunting = hopping from server to server and inspecting the areas where the giant(s) you are interested in can spawn. When you see one, and it's not being attacked, land and attack before the competition gets there :-) Sometimes people don't bother with server hopping they just hang around the spawn areas on a server waiting for the big guy to respawn.
