I have geting this really odd problem ever since I upgraded my computer to Windows Vista Beta. I have downloaded the game, and installed it (making sure to uninstall it every time), a total of THREE times, and no matter what, when I log in and press on game start, it gives me an error that I need to download and install the client.
Does anyone have any ideas or theories, or even fixes, to this problem? Also, it never happened when I was on Windows XP. A possibility is that Windows Vista uses a different way of file handling, and Nostale website didn't account for that when looking for the installed client.

Could someone at least TRY to figure out what the problem is? I want to play the game during the weekend X_X.

Windows Vista is the new operating system upgrade that Microsoft is releasing soon. It is like Windows 2000 -> Windows XP. It is just the next upgrade. My dad works for Microsoft, so we got the beta, and he says he must install it because it will make everything better. Sure, everything has been running a lot smoother, the problem is that most games aren't compatible for it yet, so I'm getting all these problems. The only game that I have gotten to work so far is Gunbound, all others have just... failed.
