True we do not have any kind of in game character reset option. That goes hand in hand with the fact that the game never resets, its a permanently changing world.
There is really no way that you can train the wrong stat that badly at the beginning of the game. Serious stat investments don't come till later in the game. The first 20 levels or so, are just for testing the waters so to speak
Alternatively, you do however have up to 4 character slots so you could always make another one
