How could you leave the Half-Life series off of the list!!!!
Half-Life 1 was the only FPS ever to get the "Best Game EVER!!" award from PC Gamer. As a Half-Life adict myself, I amd OUTRAGED!!!!!!!!  oh, I voted BF series, because you left HL off, and the "other" option is too vague to be tied to HL.

He didn't necessarily leave the Half-life series off the list. Counter-strike is based off of the half-life engine, and CS: Source is based off the source engine. The half-life multiplayer didn't make Half-life as popular as it is. The engine that people could do so much to is what make it popular, they made Counter-strike from it's engine. That is one of the reasons why Half-life became so big.
Definately, Counter-Strike 1.6 and Counter-Strike Source are the most popular. |

I would have voted CS, but I absolutly dispise that game. I found it very annoying that one person every round would end up with no kills, and end up waiting for the game to finish. Very Tedious.
Although, yes the modability of the Half-life engine is what made it popular, I still would have liked to have seen and option for "Half-Life Series and/or mods" But yeah, what was it, 7 years of gameplay for the HL1 engine, lets see if the source engine lasts that long.
