OK we where all bummed after episode 3... Mace is dead... but if you analyze the situation, and his expertise then really is he? HE got throw out the building, and you can see the approximate course of his travel downwards, right into a line of space car things. He could easily just jump right onto one of them, or better yet grab his light saber and pull himself to the side of the building and make The light saber slow down his fall. Personal I don't think hes dead, the way the put it even if he is flying uncontrollable he could use the force to stabilize himself. I think He is quite alive but to the contrary the other episodes have nothing about him. I might wanna make a book about this lol that would be interesting...

This is a debate on if hes alive or dead... consult.

Anyways i think he's dead. If he did survive the fall or w/e u want to call it someone A.K.A. Darth Vader probabley killed him as cloud said.

Maybe the fall didnt even kill him. Memory is kinda fuzzy but didnt he lose a body part and get force lightning right to the chest?

yes, but then again, IF you get shocked in teh hand it goes to your heart so if the emperor did not die then he shouldnt of. He musta hit some of thouse cars and... And Vader thought he was dead. I have a story brewing in my head now :P he will die in it rofl, damn i am so origal... does that make me raceist? lol
