Guild wars wont connect >:(
For some reason. when I go to install guild wars factions. ArenaNet says its unable to connect. and to check my internet connection and try again.
I checked my cable box. its working just fine! in fact, I was on the internet at the same time! (and that was not the problem either. cause I checked.) and for some reason, it keeps saying..  Know what the problem is..? I spent 3 months allowance on this game. it was like 60 bucks. but its not like I cant take it back or anything. its just, to the store...not enough money, get more money go home, come back, etc etc. SO IF YOU KNOW. TELL ME. I AM DESPERATE. AND I LOVE CATS. ERR..JUST TELL ME! |

doesnt matter what browser you use. also they dont take that long to reply i emailed them once with one of my problems they replied in 1-2 hours.

anyway, does your firewall block it? if using Windows Firewall that might be the problem, try putting it off for a moment and then try to run Guild Wars some of the ports on the router might be blocked, your ISP might not allow it (Although thats 99.9% of the time not the case, but I have seen that >.>). And when was the last time you checked your comp for virusses?

I think it's your firewall.
Look at any u have, try turning them off to login, then if it works, try to get them to allow guild wars.

ow. now its laggier than before....Im barely Done with the 2nd assassin quest. cause I cant really move without turning around all the way like 7 times..any software I could download to make it faster? or less laggy?

Unfortunately, Guild Wars doesn't use any 3rd party programs to 'enhance' the gameplay. No, not even something like Thottbot for WoW, not as far as I know. And I don't understand, you say you're laggier than before...how is that possible when you can't even connect to the game 'before'?
