Ahh yes. I saw that recently.
Here a some major ideas that should be done before I would even attempt playing.

1. Black and blue is hard to read and damages the eyes. Every web developer knows this.
2. To many ads. I count 7 and thats not including the ones for voting.
3. The template sucks.
4. It's crowded.

Those should be fixed. Once done I will gladly play.

Yeah, Mystix about covered them all.

As a browser based game developer, I know what a pain in the ### it is to web design, when your real talent lies in programming the actual game. I would consider investing some money into a premium template, or whipping up a decent one yourself by basing it off another decent template.

Too many ads, I understand you might need a little extra cash, but 2 should be the max. Browser based games really don't cost much at all to run, despite what most people say.

Different color scheme too.

Well I was going to make some comment regarding taking credit for my work, then I realized it was probably my partner who posted that....

Anyway, as I am doing the hosting myself, the bandwidth needs to be paid for. Unfortunately, this means that the ads stay.

The site is designed for 1152x864 and higher resolution. This is covered in the FAQ.

Regarding everything else, I'm still working on the grand scheme of the site...which is why it's beta and not RC/release.

Erm, I was hosting my own game myself too without advertisements during the first beta round... didn't cost me a dime. You honestly don't need that many ads, it doesn't cost that much to run browser based game (text) servers.

When I say hosting myself, I mean on my company's FIOS, along with a number of other (important) websites. My server is also relatively low-power. Dual 900MHz P3 Xeons. I don't mean I have a hosting package with an off-site host; I do my own hosting.

I do not think that the blue and black is actually that bad for the eyes.

Makes it alot easier to read when you are hell tired, like myself.

The color scheme of the site as a whole is just...bad. I'm going to find a good combo of a dark maroon/brown background with a gray foreground color, then base it all off of those.

It doesn't look that great in my head, but it won't be damaging on the eyes.

Yeah, I was referring to hosting it yourself. That definitely shouldn't cost that much as opposed to someone else hosting it.
