Ok Im a Little New to GuildWars i had the game before like last year and then i returned it because my comptuer sucked so a lagged a lot but i made tit o like lvl 13 ..Lmao. But now i have some cash and a good computer. Like really pleasee tell me its not really that important to get the 1st GuildWars because i was thinking of just getting factions.
I mean if i only get Factions does that mean i wont start in the same place i did in guild wars 1 and i wont get to leave to the starting world with a group of people when im ready? because that was fun in GuildWars 1. Like If u start as a noob in Factions how is the beggining how do you leave the noob world? How is it different then from starting in GuildWars 1. Wlel eya i wanna know now because im thinking of putting my clothes on and going to go buy the game now but dont know if i should buy 1st but then again i dont wanna be playing alone while everyone is playing Factions rather play new. But yea Thankx! ![]() |

There are many benefits of both Guild Wars;
Prophecies (the first one) is more slow based, and you don't level nearly as fast as you do in Factions (the second one). You choose to leave pre-searing and go out into the "real world of guild wars" whenever you are ready. It has a lot longer of a storyline then Factions, and much more map to explore. Factions is much more fasters; you can get to level 20 in a mere three hours of gameplay. You embark to the mainland after completing the second mission (located on Shing Jea). The quests give you tons more expierence, the monsters become higher level faster, but there are still some aspects that are much harder then Prophecies (like if you wanted to earn masters on a mission, you will have to complete it under a certain time.) Either one is great; you going for a high level character instantly, Factions. More of a slow playing, like to enjoy the scenary, then Prophecies. |

Well no its just that the quest in factions give more exp. But GuildWars isnt really all n lvling if your lvl 20 doesnt mean u can beat a lvl 10 in a flash Its skills so really doesnt matter much on lvl its skills Tactics thats what people love about GuildWars

Also if you want to have alot of fun in GW dont expect a MMORPG. Its really not a MMO. Its a RPG with online play. GW has far to much instancing for a MMO, doesnt have any attributes that help in anything other than combat, and not as big. But if you are one of the players who enjoys games like diablo II you wont be dissapointed. I find most people hate a game when they expect something else. If you want to enjoy GW get into parties, redo missions, get in a active guild. Stuff like that. |
