FA-LESS BOWMAN GUIDE

What is FA-LESS and why should I choose it?

FA - Final Attack
There are a few reasons for not choosing FA which are its inability to work with third job skills and its delay/unreliable fire.

This build is rather unique and will seem harder than then others but it's just based on your perspective or what you train on.

While you will of course use more pots because of this build, it later levels when you don't have to cast Soul Arrow, Bow Booster, or Focus as much you will benefit.

Also, with max focus I believe that you gain three regualar levels worth of avoidability which will save you on potions because of the higher chance of a monster missing.

AP Distribution
====================

Str: X
Dex: X
Int: 4
Luck: 4

I would try for this distribution but if you get tired of rolling then you can replace ONE of the 4's in the luck or int with a 5.

NEVER PUT ANY AP POINTS INTO INT OR LUCK!!!!

[Level 1-10]
====================

When leveling from 1-10 it will help you out most if you raise your strength to 15 before increasing your dexterity at all. You will be using your starting weapon until then which bases its damage off of strength.

After your strength is 15, DO NOT put anymore points into strength until level 15.

You will need at least 25 dex for the job advancement at level 10 which will be easily exceeded if you follow the guide.

[Level 10- 40]

Each level add ALL 5 ap points into dex unless you are a level divisible by 5. (IE: 15, 20, 25, 30, 35, 40)

If you are one of the levels listed above put ALL 5 ap points into str.

This distribution will maximize your damage by having the most dex possible for your level.

[Level 40+]
====================

Each level add ALL 5 ap points into dex unless you are one level below a number divisible by 10. (IE: 49, 59, 69 )

For BOTH the level before and the level divisible by 10 put ALL 5 ap points into str.

This distribution again will maximize your damage by having the most dex possible for your level.

Lv.10 - STR 15, DEX 4(6/7)

Lv.15 - STR 20, DEX 6(6/7)

Lv.20 - STR 25, DEX 8(6/7)

Lv.25 - STR 30, DEX 10(6/7)

Lv.30 - STR 35, DEX 12(6/7)

Lv.35 - STR 40, DEX 14(6/7)

Lv.40 - STR 45, DEX 16(6/7)

Lv.45 - STR 50, DEX 18(6/7)

Lv.50 - STR 55, DEX 20(6/7)

Lv.55 - STR 60, DEX 22(6/7)

Lv.60 - STR 65, DEX 24(6/7)

Lv.65 - STR 70, DEX 26(6/7)

FYI: The only reason you add str is to keep up with your armor and bow requirements.

This is the most important part of the build and the difference between FA and FA-LESS bowmen.

1 - Arrow Blow (all of that MP, you need something to waste it)
3 - The Blessing of Amazon
8 - The Eye of Amazon
20 - Critical Shot
20 - Double Shot
9 - Focus

Stick to this build but if you dont max any other skills at least max critical shot. That skill is essential to a bowman's success.

19 - Bow Mastery
5 - Bow Booster
5 - Soul Arrow (this will give you plenty of arrowless shooting time)

15 - Soul Arrow
11 - Focus
1 - Bow Mastery/Any Skill (except FA )

Weapon Scrolling
====================

[War Bow - Ryden] - No scrolling whatsoever

Red Viper - Many users debate whether this bow is worth scrolling with 10% or 60% scroll because of its fast attack speed. If you have lots of meso to spare you can try your luck but if not don't.

[Vaulter 2000+] - Scroll with 60% scrolls. They are expensive but you can find the money. Your damage depends on it.!

Armor Scrolling
====================

[Level 1-29] - No scrolling whatsoever
[Level 30] - You may choose to scroll your sauna robe with 100% overall for dex scroll which you can buy at the NPC for 35k each. If not just keep you level 30 gear clean
[Level 40] - You may choose to keep your sauna robe for another ten levels if you would like but i would go with the level 40 gear. The defense is substancially higher. You can scroll these with 100% top/bottom defense scrolls also sold at the NPC if you have some extra cash. That extra defense may not lower damage that much but over time it will save you meso.
[Level 50+] - It is now your choice and I believe at this level that you should be more than capable of scrolling your own armor. You can choose between the 10/60/100% scrolls for dex or whatever you would like.
