Well you could always try ryl or ryl2 or gunz or rakion rofl.
But seriously, try planetside. I know you said no FPS but this game is great. Its free but you can only get to Battle Rank 6 if you dont pay.

Do not buy guild wars it already has 2 expansions wich is like you paying monthly but instead ur buying the expansions every month to get the full game!... so its like buying 3 diffrent games just to play 1 hmm may i sudjest World of warcraft Lineage2 City of heroes!<-- I LOVE THAT GAME! and City of villains not free but you can buy game cards like i do so your not at risk!! thats all the games i know of!

The game is quest based and story driven (this is kind of funny, because a big part of the story will involve you destroying a horde of charr or something, and if you come to the map again, they'll be there again.) so you gain almost all of your experience from questing. |
