is this still in closed beta or open? I haven't read through the whole thread because I don't have enough time right now. So if it's in Closed Beta I won't bother to sign up since I just signed up for FEZ, if it's in open beta I might depending on when the english version will be released

The international version is already done and launched in January 2007! The english version should first come to the philippines in April 2007 and afterwards if they find a publisher it will reach, America/UK...

We just finished the first english Perfect World information site. We gathered all the rare english informations and guides from the internet (and also from here) about this game together in one place. From Screenshots and Movies... to the chinese playing guide etc., all can be found on our Wiki pages.
We have even contact to a chinese player, so we will be able to assist in specific questions about this game.

Everyone who is interested to join the first english closed beta of this game, can do this now by just talking in this forum thread: http://www.perfectworld.cc/forum/Def...x?g=posts&t=11. Levelupgames (the philippine publisher of Perfect World) stated that they will choose 10 beta testers from a clan which has the most active "Perfect World Closed Beta Recruiting Thread" running.

So join up and let us get into beta

I'm sorry if this has been asked before but when I do the language options in control panel and click install files for east asian languages it tells me i need the windows xp disc but i dont have it. is this absolutely necessary to play the game properly?
