Introduction to Magicians Studying ancient studies is their virtue, high intelligence is their top priority. Since they spend all their time researching, they may not have much of strength or stamina, and they use staaves and wands as their main weapons. For armor, they prefer light ones like robes with minimal defense. They can't put on heavy armor. 2. Starting Ability Points In order to become a Perfect Magician, your STR and DEX must be at 4. It might take some time to reach 4 at both stats, but that is the most significant and hardest fact about becoming perfect. The rest of the stats, INT and LUK, can be varied. Futhermore, having 5 STR/DEX is also good, so don't tire yourself trying to reach 4 at both stats. 3. Ability Point Allocation Your LUK Ability Points should always be 3 more than your level. Allocate the rest of the Ability Points on INT. 4. Becoming A Magician In order to become a Magician, you must be at least level 8. Otherwise, level 10. Plus, you must have at least 20 INT. Once you are ready, head over to Ellinia, the town of Magicians, located in a deep forest east of Victoria Island, and go to the very top of the town. On the highest platform, you will see a . Go inside the and you will see a floating person named Grendel the Really Old. Talk to him and he will judge your worth as a possible Magician and you will advance as a Magician. 5. Magician's Skills ![]() Skill: Improving MP Recovery Master Level: 16 Description: With this, you will recover even more MP every 10 sec. ![]() Skill: Improving Max MP Increase Master Level: 10 Description: While having a Level UP, if AP is used on Max MP, it raises the level of increase for Max MP ![]() Skill: Magic Guard Master Level: 20 Description: Temporarily replaces damage with MP instead of HP. If MP reaches 0, the HP takes a full hit. ![]() Skill: Magic Guard Master Level: 20 Description: Temporarily boosts the weapon defense by blowing magic into the armor. ![]() Skill: Energy Bolt Master Level: 20 Description: Use MP to attack one enemy. ![]() Skill: Magic Claw Master Level: 20 Description: Use Mp to attack an enemy twice. 6. Magician Training Grounds Level 1-8: Train in Maple Island against Snails, Blue Snails, and Shrooms. Level 8-10: Train in Henesys against Snails, Blue Snails, Red Snails, Shrooms, Slimes, Mushrooms, and Pigs. Level 10-15: Train in Ellinia against Slimes and Stumps. Level 15-21: Train in Henesys against Pigs and Ribbon Pigs. Level 21-30: Train in Ellinia against Green Mushrooms and Horned Mushrooms OR Do the Party Quest in Kerning City. 8. Introduction to Clerics They may not possess the attacking spells like fire and ice, but they have holy spells that are very powerful against the undead's and evil-based monsters. They also have skills that makes up for their low stamina and guarding abilities, and are the only magicians able to cast healing magic. 9. Becoming A Cleric In order to become a Cleric, you must be at least level 30. Go talk to Grendel the Really Old once again, and he will rave about how you look much stronger now than before. He will also make an offer that if you pass a simple test, he will make you even more powerful than you already are. Cnce you accept the offer to take the test, he will give you a letter that is for the Job Advancement Instructor near Ellinia, and you will have to go search for that person. Once the instructor receives the letter from you, you will be taken inside a tree, where the instructor tells you to collect 30 Dark Crystals by defeating the monsters inside. Once inside, there are no stores around to speak of, so you will need to stock up and prepare yourself before entering. Once all 30 Dark Crystals have been collected, the instructor will award you with a Proof of a Hero, and you will take that back to Grendel the Really Old in Ellinia, where then you will advance as the Cleric. 10. Cleric's Skills ![]() Skill: MP Eater Master Level: 20 Description: Soak up an enemy's MP after every magic attack. But if its MP reaches 0, no more. ![]() Skill: Heal Master Level: 30 Description: Recovers the HP of all party members around the area. The amount of healing depends on the number of people being healed, and the undead's in the vicinity of this will receive damage. ![]() Skill: Invincible Master Level: 20 Description: Temporarily decreases the weapon damage received. Doesn't decrease the spell damage, however. ![]() Skill: Teleport Master Level: 20 Description: Use the arrow keys to teleport to other places in the same map on a set distance. The higher the skill level, the less MP you spend. ![]() Skill: Bless Master Level: 30 Description: Temporarily increases the weapon def., magic def., accuracy and avoidability of all party members around the area. BUT, it can't be used if combined with a skill or a potion. ![]() Skill: Holy Arrow Master Level: 30 Description: Fires holy arrows at an enemy. Applies major damage to the undead's and evil-based monsters. 11. Cleric Skill Point Allocation Clerics have two attacking skills: Heal and Holy Arrow. I, personally, recommend using Heal since it can inflict great damage to up to 5 undead monsters near you. Holy Arrow, on the other hand, has almost the same damage as Magic Claw, so you won't really need it. However, it may inflict very high damage to undead monsters. Note: Another build is to simply max everything except Holy Arrow. Just switch Heal with Holy Arrow if you so desire. Level 40-45: Train in Ellinia against Zombie Lupins OR in Ludibrium against Chronos and Platoon Chronos. Level 45-50: Train in Ludibrium against Platoon Chronos. Level 50-55: Train in the Subway against Wraiths OR in Ludibrium against Master Chronos. Level 55-60: Train in the Subway against Wraiths. Level 60-70: Train in El Nath against Coolie Zombies and Minor Zombies OR in Ludibrium against Soul Teddies and Master Soul Teddies. 13.
