Default WoW Dangerous for YOU?

8/10 people I asked around the net say WoW is super highly addictive.

"If I wouldn't have joined a sport, I would have been home skipping school playing it."

Opinion? Or a FACT?

I play WoW on and off. When there is a sports season (Fall - Tennis and Spring - Track and Field), then I stop, but when they are over I start up again. Also, your quote is incorrect English grammar. The tenses are screwed up everywhere.

I'll rephrase it:
"If I hadn't joined a sport, I would have stayed home and skipped school to play it."

I have yet to encounter one person that has said that.

It is only addictive if you make it addictive.

anything can be addictive if you let it...especially a time consuming game such as WoW, and even moreso if you have ambitions of getting to rank14 PVP

There is a difference between addiction and compulsion.

Argh.. more attacks on WoW

It's not WoWs fault it's addicting. If there is a problem with a childs use of WoW, it falls in the hands of their parents, not Blizzard. It's all about self regulation.

true.

it is only dangerous if u let it.

its dangerous when you become a complete wastoid and let it take over your life without noticing and thinking, "hey, maybe this game is actually affecting my life". Some people are so addicted than when they are playing it they completely forget about eating or sleeping. THAT is dangerous.

WoW is like drugs for the anti-social. They use it as their safe haven away from real life.
