i want to transfer my character to a normal server for now, but will i be able to transfer back to my PvP server at a later time if i want to?

ok yes and no, the cooldown time on a server transfer once you've done it is 3 months BUT if you xfer PVE to PVP you CANNOT go back to PVP...so if you like PVP server i dont suggest you transfer because you wont be able to go back
