Default Commercializing F2P games

Why aren't F2P games not featured in commercial video game magazine, website, channels in America??
I mean not all of them are sucky........
I mean I'm so aggravated when i only see p2p games featured on g4tv, ign, etc..........
It be nice if they advertise or sponsor some of the mmorpg, right?? I personally want Flyff to be.
I remember back then in the Philippines when everyone in school are so excited about Ragnarok's open beta, R.O.S.E.'s and also flyff's....
But in our school in Virginia all they know about is Runescape, the only f2p game they know; and also WOW...... And if I tell them about f2p games they be like, "thats impossible no game could beat Runescape except WOW"......
^^

It might be that p2p games pay magazines and have marketing budgets. Whereas f2p games don't have the same resources. Also, p2p games have money to develop the game and make it "better" (relative term).

The ultimate f2p game that made/makes millions for its designers is "kingsofchaos."

Gay Kings of Chaos, anyway most f2p dont have enough money for those marketing scemes, there is just so much money you can earn from a cash shop, and these marketing schemes attract all sorts of people, including n00bs. So i guess there are too many cons for a f2p game to do these kind of marketing i guess..

Lol marketing a F2P game would be "retarded' 1. they dont get any money from the new players, people advertise to get mroe people to buy their product, not to eat their bandwidth for free 2. as said before F2P game dont have marketing budgets 3. Usually the developers of F2P games arent very popular, and thus wouldnt get much publicity by big name companies.

I agree. Flyff and Silkroad deserve to be mentioned. (Especially Silkroad - Flyff is a tad bit buggy.)
