So i been looking at new cards i have a radeon 9800 pro (128mb) and i wont something better but im not to up on cards and the differences. I dont have a ton of money to spend and was wodering if Sapphire Radeon X1600 Pro 512MB DDR II(AGP) was any good? or if anyone can recommend something to me.
Thanks for your help. P.s sort of games i play are hl2 and the ones in my sig

The X1600 PRO's a decent card...
I'd recommend the X800 GTO, it performs better and is probably cheaper. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16814102042 If you gave me a budget I could find you a better card.

Well... Newegg doesn't ship to the UK, so I can't really help much...
For ~£100 though, you can probably get a 7600GT, which is better than both the X1600 PRO and X800 GTO. Crappy? Loud, perhaps, but it depends mostly on the manufacturer. |

you can probably find it at tiger direct though for about the same price.....i think that tigerdirect is the english site, but i know they have a uk site, but i can't remeamber the name of it.
