Hey guys,

as most of you know, im in a Melodic Death Metal band called My Sweet Shadow.

Now, the name seems kinda emo/hardcore, so we're thinking changing it.

Choose which one you think is the coolest haha.

Decination
His Infernal Majesty
His Unholy Majesty
His Diabolic Majesty
His Unholy Symmetry
Thine Diabolic Symmetry
Thine Unholy Symmetry
Thine Infernal Symmetry
Thine Unholy Clarity

Pick one LOL or give me some tips on making a good DEATH METAL name.

um... can I download any tracks, here what it's like? cause I dunno what would be fitting, and all those titles sound too mcr-ish for a completely different music style... pronoun adjective noun is the formulae for most of those

Thine Unholy Symmetry, but instead of Symmetry, change it to Paradigm.

sorry for the horrible recording lol, we just recently got access to a professional recording studio, so we're just ****ing around with it and seeing what we can do (effects wise).

Astral Casket

I listen to a lot of Death Metal bands but I'm no good with names...

EDIT: "Astral Casket" has a nice ring to it.

I personally agree with Ramstein's idea, but you should make a name that contradicts itself. I alway found that cool.

My second choice would have to be His Majesty, nothin' in between.

All of a sudden, Lead Paradox came to my mind. "Firmanent and unpassable Self contridiction." Booyah. Also, I've been using the word Paradox alot IRL lately!

Or you can go with something weird, like mixing Cotton and Onyx.... You get Cottonyx, or Cottony-X, Woosh!

Cottony isn't a good descriptive word for Death Metal though, so hmm...

All these two word names though, go with some 3 or more, yeah! (One word named bands, pssha! That's what Acronyms are for!)
