Does anyone know an anime(cartoons) that has a Protagonist in a weak state? But as the plot and the conflict start to get fierce hes become strong later in the series. (something like dragonball z)

Well, any anime that has at least a decent storyline than pokemon. It gets too
anticlimatic, when some dude with a mutated mouse travel with his friends. Then team rocket comes and try to ruin the day and fail.
