Temporary board? Which quest would that be?

I onlöy know the lvl 37(?) Quest, where this something or other at Saint Morning is stolen, and you run around talking to NPCs to clear it up. Doesn't take much time and gives you the Aero board, which isn't temporary.

The magic broom you get from the lvl 20 quest isn't temporary either. Most of my chars used the broom until they got the Aero, and got an Ignice/Projan much later (or not at all --- I have three playchars, and only one Projan/Ignice each, but one of the playchars I list as inactive so it doesn't matter).

Well, when I see an Ignice/Projan for 150K or less I'll probably grab it. But people seem to put them for more than 200K into their shops...
