It depends what maps your playing. I consider COT, Defiances RPG, and Final fantasy open RPG, AND all the other great unbalanced maps RPGs. Cant go wrong with Warcraft =D.

It is very RPG-esque.
All of Blizzard's strategy games can be played in a fairly RPGish mode. I made a Knight into a character using the old WCII MapEditor, There have been Diablo 1 and 2 clones on Starcraft, Jarvis was the character of a Dink Smallwood modification using a footman graphic (Okay that doesn't count) and there are a decent number of RPG game-types online with WCIII. Still a strategy game though really. But yeah, lots of RPG elements. Heroes could have used some refining methinks. |

Normal games aren't RPG, but the campaign is (well, 'The Founding of Durotar' is) and online there are some Custom Games which are RPG. Like Dota or something.
