If you use FireFox there is an extension you can use that lets you save embedded videos like those on YouTube to your computer called Flash Video Download . I haven't used it before but its always on the "Hot Extensions List" so it must work.

Anyway.

Death Note is the bomb. I like how the protagonist (Light) is more like the antagonist and the antagonist (L) is more like the protagonist.

Hellsing is awesome. Even though the main character is overpowered in the beginning, without the story making him train for more power, it's still cool. The story line is really interesting, and the fighting makes up for it, especially when Arucard... well, you got to find out for yourself! (Arucard is his name god dammit, if you watched the anime, one of the lines says, "My name is Arucard... but they call me Alucard."

There is also King of Bandits Jing, Excel Saga (Hilarious), Golden Boy(Hilarious), Great Teacher Onizuka (Hilarious, just got finished watching all 43 episodes)... I need to find more humor based Animes...

well im downloading anime, and if rodenty was to get warned id rather have it for asking for a illigal download :P

Downloading fansubs is a bit controversial.

Technically it is illegal, but there are so many ignorant people out there that would rather pay for a dub than read a free sub. (<= Hey that rymes)

It's illegal in the sense that modern day copywrite laws are a shared legal status amung several allied nations.

It's legal in the sense that copyrigh is still a set of laws only inforcable by the country to which the company, who holds the license, is a part of. Thus, with must anime, sense it is not licensed by outside countries upon the first airing, it is almost impossible to prevent such actions from happening.

But still, like I said the first, the amount of people who don't care for the subs or dubs is very slim to the amount who'd rather watch a dub, even if the dub is very poor; thus, a cut into the profit magins is very little.

edit: Technically it is up to the fansubbers to determine whether or not to practice proper laws ettiqute.

Also, many bug anime fans also state that if you watched the sub and liked it, help other animes flurish in your country by purchasing the anime when hits shelves in your country. (That last part makes it legal by copyright laws)

Also, ridly_loki, if you cared enough for this topic to be locked, quit complaining and simply report the thread. Constantly poping in and complaining does not help; however, fansubs is not pirateing it is the sharing of a medium otherwise unavailable to others (the REAL reason for the existance of the Internet; that's right, it wasn't made for pron). The catch is it is illegal when you download dubs of the origanal.

Pirating is when you have acess to the product but refuse to pay for it and, thus, download the software ilegally.

[example of pirateing and non-pirating]
Bleach AS Dubs for first season = pirating
Bleach Subs for 3rd (or 4th) season = sharing of media otherwise unavailable
