First of all I'd like to say that this is in no way the perfect stat distribution and therefore don't flame me cause this is my opinion:
Taoist (Mage)- There are 2 types, Fan and Staff, you can only use certain skills with a specific weapon. For example you can only use cold arrow with staff and fire arrow with fan. However the annoyance comes in when you discover that you can learn spells which aren't specific to your weapon. Fans are slightly stronger in magic atk and weaker in melee while staffs are stronger in melee and weaker in magic atk. Stat distribution which I use: Str-Place it here VERY rarely or never. Dex-Same as above. Vit-Place it here every 2 levels or so for def. Int-Every single level place all your stat points here or place 3 if you want to place 1 in Vit. I use this stat distribution so that if an enemy does manage to attack me then I won't suffer THAT much. It is also preferable for PvP. Stat Distribution some people use: Str-Never. Dex-Never. Vit-Very rarely or never. Int-Always. This is for more hardcore people who are positive they'll defeat the enemy before it reaches them, if it does though, they'll most likely run away or die. PvP is a no-no unless you manage to run away while sometimes turning around to attack your foe. Sin (Assasin): There are 2 types here as well, Star and Claw. Claw is melee and Star is long ranged. Any two are fine although I've seen a high majority of star, you're choice... Same thing works here, there are specific skills for specific weapons and you can learn a skill for your counterpart weapon. I have no idea which is stronger/weaker in what as I haven't made a Sin yet but I'll ask my pal and update later. Stat Distribution (From what iKai said)- Str-Rarely to never. Dex-Always increase by at least 3. Vit-Possibly every 2 or 3 levels increase by 1. Int-Never, I suppose. Looks to me as if this is the PvP based distribution as Vit gives you more def so that you last longer in battle. Stat Distribution (Also from what iKai said)- Str-Never. Dex-4 every level. Vit-Never. Int-Never. This looks like a more PvE based distribution as you can get rid of mobs more quickly but in PvP your defence will be low even though your HP will be a little bit higher than in the previous stat distribution. Warrior (Soldier)- There are 2 types yet again, Sword and Blade and yet again there are specific skills for specific weapons. You can learn the skills from your counterpart weapon here as well. I'm not sure if the Blade has higher atk but lower weapon def and Sword has higher weapon def but lower atk as I've never made a Warrior. Str-Share with Dex. Dex-Share with Str. Vit-Possibly place 1 every level. Int-Never. I'm guessing this stat distribution, str and dex make you strong with high HP and max and min damage aren't too far apart and vit gives you ok def. This looks good for PvE and average for PvP. Got bored so I'll write the last part later. Sorry! Hope this helped (until now). These are the only three classes so...i'll update later.
