Hello, my names mitch, im looking for a game that needs a 2d mapper, I map well and would be an excellent choice to map for your online game.

Iv worked with: playerworlds, eclipse, mirage, and some others, but I should have no problem working with a new online game maker.

I will update this thread with more screenshots shortly (I have none atm so I'm going to have to make some maps)

Anyways... If your interested send me a message or just reply on this thread.

Mitch! Though our project isn't quite to the stage where we need a mapper, we will eventually need one. Its being done in C++ with DirectX, but we'll be putting together a map editor as we go.

Also, its not front view like your screen shot, its isometric. Would that be a problem? Send me a PM and we can talk

Uh.. that shot IS isometric..

no isnt isometric the side top view?

Yes, isometric is a 3/4 view top down, so the tiles look like diamonds instead of squares.

shouldn't be a problem, like I said I pick up fast, but although I'm not quite positive what you mean (a screen shot would help).

About your game, I'm interested, perhaps you could fill me in on some details, would it be just me mapping, or a number of people. I'm perfectly willing to take on the project by myself if thats what your thinking about. How experienced are you at making games?

Do you know some coding? It would be neat to work with someone who can code, seeing how I cant for the life of me. I'm far more of an artist then a genius.

We have a moderate team right now, including a 2d artist (me), a 3d modeller and animator, one programmer, and of course, some people for marketing, network tech stuff and website.

You'd be working primarily with me and the 3d modeller. I have some very rough iso tiles made. Take a peek.

Its a post modern setting (sci-fi without the spaceships), like Blade Runner or Johnny Mnumonic.

I am also still looking for another programmer! Mine is a wee bit unreliable. I know a little code myself, but not nearly well enough for this project.

Anyways, let me know if you're interested.
