Get mastery first. It's basically extra free damage. And you can't possibly refuse anything that's free

Also best place to train is Hidden N Sentosa Plains 2. That map will give you amazing exp.

weapons alrdy reach lvl 80s
and as for skills they stop at 50 for now wait till next job advancement for more skills

does it really matter what skills (run, high jump, meditate, palm force) you use your ability points on before your job advancement?

*and is sword mastery just supposed to be there, no animation for it or anything

For your first question: Yes, it does matter. Warriors and assassins usually max their run and high jump, and use up the remaining skill points for meditate. Taoists usually put more skill points in meditation. Of course, there are different skill builds for this, depending on how you'd like your character to be.

For your second question: Yes, sword/blade mastery is a PASSIVE skill, meaning it's always there. No animation. It just increases the damage you do using a sword/blade (depending on which mastery you level up).
