yea i noticed that sometimes i am short on money. i've started a total of 4 characters so far so i've learned some ways to save money: don't buy any equipment until level 8, you might not have gloves or armor when you are level 5, but most of the monsters are easy anyway and AT level 8 only buy equipment that will boost your defence by a good amount or else just stick with your current eq(i usually only npc buy like 2 items). one thing you should always buy is your next weapon though because that helps a lot but dont go buying lots of weapons cuz they are expensive. make sure you only buy the weapon you WILL use(dont buy a sword, an axe and a lance for a warrior, just pick one). next, don't go identifying every item you get. it doesnt increase the selling price so if you arent gonna use it anyway, just sell it. and lastly, this may seem like an underhand tactic but many people when they use rage mode they dont pick up their loot or when high lvl players kill in the 1-10 zone too. you can always follow them around a bit and get some extra money.
