I heard that too when i saw it like 2 years ago. All i have to say to that is, who cares, that was the best feckin low budget movie i ever saw, in that case. Very tastefully done, I don't think they exaggerated at all and it didnt seem like random violence, seemed fairly realistic.

But the Manga is like... pratically hentai with gore and death and pain. O__o

I just watched it and it is definitly a great movie. On my favourite movies of all time list now.
