Daft Punk ftw
Also try looking up their movies. Interstellar 5555 is actually really good.

lets see... Bjork
ANYTHING off of the Ghost in the Shell soundtrack. Some of the best techno I've heard comes off the soundtracks for Ghost in the Shell.
Apex Twin
Infected Mushroom
ATB
Basement Jaxx
Ken Ishii
Boom Boom Satellites
Delerium
Dirty Sanchez
Paul Van Dyk
Electric Six
Fatboy Slim
Fischerspooner
Zero 7
Tune Up!
Scooter
Royksopp
Pendulum
Nortec Collective (for some kick-*** Mexican techno)
Moby
Lords of Acid

And ofcourse I shouldn't have to mention BassHunter

That should get you started.
What I suggest though, is to look for techno collections, because most artists only make like three or so tracks, so they don't release a whole album, just single tracks, which hard hard to find. But collections often have those artists that make only one or two tracks.
