Project name:Oreh Online

Brief description:
2D MMORPG under development. Still in early stages. For more information check the website or the post in the Game Development section.

Target aim:
Freeware. I dont plan on charging anytime for this game.

Compensation:
You will be part of the team creating the game. You will get the same as me which is reward of knowing people will enjoy your work... hopefully... lol

Technology:
Original code base is from Mirage Source. Its a basic 2D game source. Its modified of course and continues to be. Coded in Visual Basic 6.

Talent needed:
2D Sprite Pixel Artist
2D Tile Pixel Artist


Team structure:
Currently im the only one on the staff. I program the game and so far have done the in game GUI and stuff which turned out better than I thought actually. More less im doing it all right now which I hope to get help with.

Tiles/Map and Sprites are all default and wont be used... thats why this post is here for custom ones.

Any feedback is fine. If you flame though do so on good grounds... with a good backing up. Criticism is more welcome then flaming though.

This looks very promising! Though I think I've seen the blue dude with the awesome hat... I registered on the forums and added you on MSN and AIM. Do you have XFire, by any chance?

Yeah sprites and tiles arent original yet... thus the topic.

he just used the blue guy because he wants to use custom sprites and he wanted to make screenshots

naruto was making a joke if you didn't notice. But the game does look well done, and I would suggest posting on a few other dev sites if you havn't already. I cannot recall the site by heart since i am not home but go to hopedaggers profile here and he has a great site that you can get a few people to help probably. It is dev.net or something. gamedev.net (I think)

If he was I dont really care. Im not worried about opinions cause its still early. I will check into some more sites for some artists thanks.

Also what does everyone think about the character sprite in the Character Information menu? I drew that a while back... is it good enough to use or should I go find someone to make better ones.

I'd say to find someone else. It doesn't look very good, IMO.
