What is the best build for a blader, Str or Dex? Many say str is really good because you can wear osmium armor, but then some say dex is good because of martial armor. I heard osmium armor has really good defence, and martial has really good dogde. My second question is what's better, having a higher def or having a higher dodge? I have played plenty of mmorpgs in my life, and usually defense is always better than dodge. But I would like to know what everyone prefers. Last time i played a game with dodge they messed it up by putting accuracy pots in it >.< Thanks.

P.S. please put which is better for pvp, dodge or defense.

first thing. osmium is the material. martial is the style. you can equip osmium martial suit, for bladers. Also, STR is not for equiping armor. All armor requires the same amount of STR and DEX. for example, the stats for an armor would be 250 str, 50 int, 250 dex (just an example). that way it's fair if you go mostly STR or DEX- either way you'll have to bring one or the other up a little more. the purpose of having STR is to use blades. DEX is to use katanas. STR deals more damage, but you have a higher chance of missing. DEX deals less damage, but you will be a lot more accurate. Either way it balances out. STR and blades are good for comboing because combo never misses. However, they are bad for BM1 and BM2 cause you can't combo, thus even though you get super ownage, you will miss those ownage hits and waste your BM. However, DEX and katanas are OK with combo. Sure they never miss, but their damage is less than blades. Now for BM1 and BM2, they are better there because they land more hits so even if they aren't just as strong as blades, the fact that they hit more often will cancel out the "lack" of damage.

And to clear up a common rumor. BLADES AND KATANAS ATTACK AT THE SAME SPEED, THERE IS NO DIFFERENCE IN THEIR ATTACK SPEED.

EDIT: right i didn't answer about the dodge or defense part at the end, my bad. Well as for that part, bladers are natural dodgers. Their armor has decent defense, but it's mostly the dodge that makes them awesome.

i had 8k attack rate at lvl 60 with buffs.
