its p2p with 30 day trial. once you get done with your trial you can just deactivate your account.

But you gotta buy the CD for the trial.I might play to,but on the PS2or maybe PS3.

Yes - people still play.
Alot of people have quit, but not so many that we've hd a server merge or anything yet.
I'd say, about half as many people are still playing, as back in the "hey-days".
