If I had a dime for every time someone reported my lvl 5 pure wcer, I would be rich.

And they appoint mods on their own schedule, not very often. Player mod isn't all that glamorous, either.

you have to be a member and be active on the forums. theres a 2% chance jagex will make you a mod for something you did ingame. reporting people doesnt make you a mod faster. you just gotta post alot on the forums but be helpful and not spam. answer peoples questions, give people help, be polite yada yada yada. they dont just pick people at random.

That is undoubtedly the fastest and easiest way to become a mod.

For the fastest and easiest way to become a legitimate mod, be active on the forums, in your time on the game hang around lummy helping out the noobs, don't scam or "have your fun with" new players etc.

I sugest going suicidal so you will be put in the news, Jagex will pity you and make your character(which will never be used again) a mod. AND we wouldn't have to listen to your greedy pointless posts. IF you were smart,you would've looked it up on the RUNESCAPE site, and you could've saved us all 2 minutes of our valuablerER-than-another-stupid-mod-question life.

Non members can be mods too...
MY friend is a nonmember yet hes a mod.
All u need to do is like report tonnes of ppl PROPERLY (Real Item Scamming etc.). Dont lie in reports. And dont get reported for something u did. Oh and try not to get speech blocked cause thats detected but if not reported is because it might be accident..
Mods are not important. THey just get extra attention than other players (Bad in my opinion). but they can ban ppl 4 48 hrs

umm, why do you hate all us game mods so much? im a mod on runescape, and although a quit a while ago, i still go on once in a while to say hi.

and to answer the thread makers question, the best advice i have to give you is to be an overall 10/10 player.

~help lower levels
~report properly
~be nice
~be active.

Play for at least 2 years and dont make any offenses and report everyone you see breaking a rule !!! 8)

i played runescape for over 4 years and im not a mod

just do the right thing. post on fourms to get more attention but dont spam. have good grammer and tell the trush.
