Lets see i think GO is much better and i only played it fro a week
i played maple for 2 years and its so boring now

go has faster attacks
faster leveling
better looking characters (maple has big headed characters..lol)
peasent (beginner)skills:high jump, meditation, run and palm force
this makes a beginner more fun to play especially high jump which lets you jump high into the mountains and stuff

u could compare GO as a clone of maple because they both have the same jobs which are warrior assasins and magicians

the only thing maple has right now that is better is all of the maps but even the maps in maple suck

bera->6x hunter
bera->5x bandit

Actually you couldn't compare GO as a clone as GO was made before MS. So MS is the 'clone'. But really, the games are entirely different in my opinion, I mean as different as side scrollers can be.

The only reason people say that the games are similar is because they are both 2D Online Sidescrollers.

If you look at the GO site (Original chinese one) it actually does have a lot more maps. And the intro to GO is pretty cool. It explains the back ground of the game and introduces the players to the Hero and villains of the game.

I like ms still because if you think about it...its alot more casual and you can just talk and train and just Chillll. But in GO you have to focus on training hardcore and no-one talks and its just pressure and you're so focused. ya got lazy...but thats ma 2cents

Maple=Casual gaming. GO=hardcore

How can you compare two different games that are nothing a like.. would you compare GO and WoW? No, I don't think so.. both games have their Pros and Cons.. if you want to compare something, compare different versions of GO.

you mean there are KSers in GO? I have yet to encounter any, and in MS there are more.

And yeah Iceywolf, I agree. The only thing is that because they are sidescrollers, and there aren't that many in here, and I want that to change! I mean there is Latale, which is not coming english but is JUST SO FUN, and D&F, and I know at least a couple of more sidescrollers that are in Asian market.

Besides you wouldn't compare a 3D game with a 3D game just because theyre 3D.

ya should know better to no judge a game just by looking at it. you have to play it first than to judge it.
I used to be a maplestory fan until i recently started playing ghost online. Ghost online has a faster and cleaner fighting style. U wont have to spend hours just looking for a good drop the drop rate its pretty high in GO. Also every chracter has the choice to run and jump very high on the air just like if u using haste but a little better than haste cause of the speed. The characters looks aint bad. Is better than maples big headed characters. Ghost is in beta right now but i still think the fighting is much better and entertaining than maple. U also dont have to spend long hours leveling up.
