(I did not make this guide....it was someone else)Glove Assassin Intro In my opinion, glove assassins are the best class in GO. They have range, and pretty good damage. I don't get hit very often, and when I'm in tight situations, I can always use invisibility to get out of them. Assassins do take a lot of damage, but with the VIT build you will take a lot less. To become an assassin, you'll have to talk to your Assassin Job Instructor, which is in Sentosa Plains 6 on the east side of Sentosa. She'll also teach you new skills every 5 levels after making the job advancement. Stat Distribution: 1. Pure Dex Build - The most recommended build. Just add all stats to dex. Has pretty good damage, relatively good hp, but your defence is a bit of a problem and you'll take a lot of damage. 2. Str, Dex Build - This build will give you a lot of hp, and your attack will be pretty much the same, only your attack range will be smaller. Ex: Instead of 100-200, you'll have a range of 130-170 or so. 3. Vit, Dex Build - This build gives you more defence and higher hp. You'll be a lot weaker damage-wise, but you will be able to take more hits from monsters and in PvP. 4. Int, Dex Build - The ultimate PvP build, as you'll have tons of sp. You'll be weak, but also be able to use tons of skills in PvP without your sp running out. Skill Distribution: This is a build that I have done, and it works out very good. I'm not level 40 yet, but it doesn't really matter. Level 1 > [Run +1, High Jump +1, Meditate +1, Palm Force +1] Level 2 > +2 Run Level 3 > +2 Run Level 4 > +2 High Jump Level 5 > +2 High Jump Level 6 > +2 High Jump Level 7 > +2 High Jump Level 8 > +1 High Jump +1 Meditate Level 9 > +2 Meditate Level 10 > +2 Meditate [Learn Glove Mastery (+1)] Level 11 > +2 Glove Mastery Level 12 > +2 Glove Mastery Level 13 > +2 Glove Mastery [Learn Penetrator (+1)] Level 14 > +2 Glove Mastery Level 15 > +2 Glove Mastery Level 16 > +2 Glove Mastery Level 17 > +2 Glove Mastery Level 18 > +1 Penetrator, +1 Double Shot [Learn Double Shot (+1)] Level 19 > +1 Penetrator, +1 Double Shot Level 20 > +1 Penetrator, +1 Double Shot Level 21 > +1 Penetrator, +1 Double Shot Level 22 > +2 Glove Mastery Level 23 > +2 Glove Mastery Level 24 > +1 Glove Mastery[MAX], +1 Penetrator Level 25 > +1 Penetrator, +1 Double Shot Level 26 > +1 Penetrator, +1 Double Shot Level 27 > +1 Penetrator, +1 Double Shot Level 28 > +1 Penetrator, +1 Double Shot [Learn Detoxify (+1)] Level 29 > +2 Double Shot Level 30 > +2 Double Shot Level 31 > +2 Double Shot Level 32 > +2 Double Shot Level 33 > +2 Double Shot [Learn Invisibility (+1)] Level 34 > +1 Double Shot[MAX], +1 Penetrator Level 35 > +2 Penetrator Level 36 > +2 Penetrator Level 37 > +2 Penetrator Level 38 > +2 Penetrator [Learn Evasion (+1)] Level 39 > +1 Penetrator[MAX], +1 Poison Level 40 > +2 Poison Run 5/5 High Jump 10/10 Meditate 6/20 Palm Force 1/20 Glove Mastery 20/20 Penetrator 20/20 Double Shot 20/20 Poison 4/20 Detoxify 1/20 Invisibility 1/20 Evasion 1/20 NOTE: When you get to level 39, you can add to Poison, Invisibility, or Evasion. I just chose Poison, because I know I'll use it more often than the other two. Evasion isn't that great when you only have 4 stats on it, so either you add a lot of stats to it, or you don't get it at all. This move is really only good for claw assassins as they get hit more often. Keep in mind that when you use poison there is an experience decrease. The longer you keep a monster poisoned, the less exp you get from it. Thanks to Onizuka for this info. Leveling Guide Level 1-5: Go to Sentosa Gate East, and go into the Odd Land novice portal. Your sp does not decrease when running in here. Also, do some quests, and you'll get some good money and exp. Level 6-10: Odd Land 2 or 3 is good. Again, keep doing quests until you're level 10 and can make the job advancement. Level 11-15: Mr. Lompats. Good places to hunt them at are Sungai Wang 8, and Klang Valley 7. (These are the Praying Mantisses, btw) Level 16-20: Payung(Umbrellas)s, and Eggies. N. Sentosa Plains 5 is a good spot to hunt them, or you could go to Hidden N.S Plains 1. You can find it in Hidden Map guide if you want to hunt there. You can also hunt in Hidden N.S Plains 2, which has Eggies, and I Am Matas. It's a little harder, but it's good spawn and exp. Level 21-25: At first, hunt at Hidden N.S Plains 2, with Eggies and Matas, then you can move onto Hidden N.S Plains 3 later on with R2D2s and Ah Doinks. Level 26-30: Move on to Sungai Buloh 1. It has Ninja Titiks and Currybeans, which are pretty hard at low levels, but will give you a lot of exp. Level 30-35: Stay at Sungai Buloh 1 til level 33, then you have the option of hunting at Sungai Buloh 3-6. These maps are over on the other side of Chow Kit, so you'll have to teleport to Ayer Hitam. There's also a hidden Sungai Buloh map which has some sort of brown zombie monsters. Don't go here until you're level 33, because these monsters are very hard, and mob you like crazy. Level 36-40: The hidden Sungai Buloh map I mentioned before. You really have nowhere else to go, because the next best monsters shoot bones at you which do a lot of dmg. You can try going to the well underneath Ayer, but the maps are hard to get around, and there aren't many mobs. i guess i won't need to repost "Duo's Tips and Tricks for Ghost Online"
oh wells.but i must note a possible flaw in your skill design. first off, it is best to have your mastery all set before any skills are raised. at low level you will be interchanging normal throws with penetrator a lot. during that time period it woudl be best to boost all mastery due to the fact that mastery adds damage to normal throws and skill attacks. also, it is not very wise to keep raising skills every level- i learned this the hard way. at level 28 i already had 11 penetrator, and it was eating out of my MP like a fcking *****. i couldn't even get 30% before i had to repot 500 mp pots (small). the best way to build skills is to hit them up at the level right before the MP leap. lv 1-5 same mp use, lv 6-10 same mp use, lv 11-15 same mp use, lv 16-20 same mp use. it is best to save up skill points and get your skills to the MP leap line. for example, let's say you have level 5 double shot already and you just leveled up and have more points. if you put them into double shot, you will deal only 20% more damage (as in, say 210% dmg goes up to 230% dmg) but you will be using about 10-13 more mp per shot. if you halt putting in skill points until you compile 6 total, you can put in 5 points at once, putting your skill to lv 10 which does dmg 50% higher (as in, from 210% to 260%) and you use the same mp as if you were lv 7. that is the most effective way to build your skills EDIT: also, it may not be wise to master those beginner skills. there are still level 40 and level 50 skills wating for you, and having a skill at lv 38 means you will have to be compile leveling those skills. if your beginner skills are maxed, then your more professional skills later on will be weak and not be used to their full advantage Last edited by Duo; 01-25-2007 at 12:03 AM. |
