That's an odd thing to say in the launcher of an MMORPG where the whole point is to play for a long time to get to high levels so that you'll want to buy items from the cash shop. =P

It says that so they dont get sued... You know how the world works now a days. One little mistake, and you will be sued. People walk down the street looking for ice they can slip on and hurt themselves with, just so they can make some money out of it.
If they never had that warning, someone can comlain getting stoach cramps, or back hurts, or arms are tired, or to lazy to go outside. Or gotta afraid of the sun, ect. All these made up excuses can make them big money. You have to have warning signs everywhere. Like, why do you think stores always have signs that say Wet Floors. Or if in a store there was a spill you hear on the raido thing that there is a spill in this area, and people run to it, and put those pilalons all around it? Because they can get sued for any little thing... Its stupid, but its true. |

So I guess I can sue the person who made my mouse, cause I am getting carpal tunnel and there is no warning on the mouse or any material that the mouse came with.
They wouldnt get sued just because they didnt have the warning. In my opinion, I think its a psychological trick. You read it, and you wonder...... Why does it have this warning? Is it that addicting? No matter what warnings may be placed on anything, a company or person can be still be sued under the right circumstances. Example: You have a in-ground pool in your backyard. Its fenced in, the gate has a lock on it, and there are a 'No Tresspassing' signs on every side of the fence. One day you find a drowned child in your pool. You can still get sued. |
