Guys don't give into the hype. Don't get your hopes up to much because it might turn out to be a generic korean MMO just with jumping people on rooftops.

Yeah... I'm shying away from the hype. I dont wish to get my expectations too high only to have them casted aside in utter disapointment. Though it's my hope that Hero wnt be as laggy as SRO. That would really ruin things...meh.:cool:

......... Wow. There's PLENTY more korean MMOs that SUCK and are boring. The list is longer than the good list so korean MMOs don't have a good reputation.

Hey..

I think you just personally don't like korean MMORPG... but you have to know.. it is korea that made MMORPG popular in the US. Because of their success in the US, US companies started making MMORPG.

I don't care what you think of Korean MMORPGs, but you have to appreciate what their games have accomplished in the US.

Anyways..

Like I said, go play PS2.

Basically, I like some korean MMOs and basically I'm not really gonna believe you because you seem to be the person hyping this game the most.

It's not that we dont like Korean MMORPGs. It's just that most Korean companies lack ideas and make boreing grindfest games. Sadly their numbers far outnumber those of the companies that actually make the 'good' korean MMORPGs.

Plus some of those games may have korean versions, but they were released after or at least at the same time as the english version. Games like Guild Wars may be published by NCSoft (which is responsible for bringing some korean MMO's to the US), but it's developed by Arena Net, which isn't a korean company (I don't think).

Well I would say most P2P korean games are decent to good.. All the ones people hype the most on this board are free MMORPG and everyone knows the reason why.. Also I have yet to see any other country offer a Free MMORPG that stands up to the free Korean MMORPG in graphics and gameplay.. Even though most free korean MMORPG are grindfests no other countries free MMORPG has done better in fact they probably done worse...
