Well, for Dragon Balls.. My ex brother-in-law got actually 3 DBs in one week, for the ape spawns. It's all random, and depends how much time you spend hunting. He use to go hours, and kill about 10000 apes before he'd get one. He got lucky once and got one in about 300 birdmen while leveling his Warrior on Saphire.

ALl depends on luck, and how many you kill.

its only dependent because, you are forcing the system to give u what u want.. just like making socs... spam enuf mets.. ull get a soc... just migh be either 3 or 300...

just to throw this out there, ive been playing for 3 years (on and off) i didnt hunt much but i had my fair shair of monster kills and i only found 1 dragonball....jus to tell u how rare it is, now if u hunted alot it woudlnve been diffrent but i have killed ALOT of monsters.....and 1 db lol....

Game is random,
I found 2 Db's in 1 night(4 hours) from hunting, Being random it's best to go and hunt that way (Randomly), I don't understand people who stay in 1 spot at the spawns, It's useless most of the time, U may get half a dozen mets and a few +1 items if your lucky. Only thing it's good for is power levelling, So mix it up a bit and teleport to different areas to hunt.
Another tip is to go to bird island(hawkings) and wait for a high lvl archer to come along that can 1 hit them, 9/10 times they don't bother picking up items or gold, Usually only mets and Db's that drop,If your patient enough to go around and pick the stuff up you can get plenty of gold and +1 gear that u can sell at market,Keep doing it until u have 20-30(depending on market price) +1 items then buy a Dragon ball.
