Default Builds Thread

Spearman- Spearmen are the most popular character in VN version, mostly because of their huge attack dmg. Spearmen do have great dmg but low def and hp. Spearmen rely on their 1-hit skills and are great soloers at the beginning. But at high lvl (60+) they need to rely on parties (that constain healers) to be able to lvl effectively. Spearmen also have pretty slow attack speed compared to bladers and swordmen.

About Spearmen build, theres alot of conversations in VN version, no one has found the "best" build yet.
Heres some suggestions:

Max first skill [max lvl 20] - first skill raises your defence.
Max your fifth skill [max lvl 20] - Propably your best skill, Ok theres a system for all characters that when you deal certain dmg theres a bar that when its full you will get "few seconds" berserker mode, which raises your dmg and def by alot. But it doesnt last very long, when you max this skill you will get 70 sec berserker mode for spearmen.
Max your seventh skill [max lvl 20] - Im not sure of this, as I dont see the real effect cause my spearmen hasnt max this, but I heard it either raise your attack and def by 20% or raises attack and def by 20% while in berserker mode, anyway recommended to max.
Okay now many ppl have made exceptions for by adding to third skill which raises your attack speed, as some ppl see great attack dmg and great attack speed will be better than attack dmg and def.
After lvl 60, raise or max your eigth skill - raises your def by 2 per each point you add.

Maybe you can see why spearmen are so popular now, their skill dmg is great, their normal dmg is great plus they can choose great attack speed or great def.

Bowman- still need a build

Healer- Ok i found some guide on another forum, maybe it will help you to find a good build to be a master of healer.

Priests are the supportive type characters that can buff and heal your party members. Priests tend to "leech" exp on parties alot at low lvls, but they do have some high-dmg skills too to help them on quests and solo. But I wouldnt prefer solo to any priests, they should stay at parties as much as possible, especially with bladers. You can always leech exp partying with bladers at low lvl, with swordmen and bladers at mid lvl, with everybody (especially spearmen) at high lvl. Now even it says leech exp, it doesnt mean you just can afk on parties, you will need to buff and heal them constantly which make the leech sounds more difficult. Otherwise priests are the ones that may constantly hear something like: "Buff me plzz" or "Heal me fasttt". Priests are also very good at soloing bosses.

Theres 2 good builds for priests:

Buff/Heal Priest build:

From lvl 1-10 you will have 9 skill points to add.
Raise your first skill to lvl 9 - first skill raises your regenation speed of hp and mp.
From lvl 11-20 you wiill have 10 skill points to add.
Raise your fifth skill to lvl 10 - fifth skill raises the amount of hp you heal.
From lvl 21-30 you will have 10 skill points to add.
Max your fifth skill [max lvl 20] - Now you will be able to party ppl that are alot higher lvls than you and "leech" exp from them.
From 31-35 you will have 5 skill points to add.
Raise your first skill to lvl 14 - Important since you need to heal alot, you need alot of regenation to lessen the pot using.
Ok heres the best advantage for Priests, that from lvl 36 onwards they will gain 2 skill points each lvl. Thats mean From lvl 36-40 you will have 10 skill points to add.
Max your first skill , now you still have 4 skill points to add.
After this you can max your fourth skill - fourth skill raises your mp.

Nuker Priest/Battle Mage build:

Maybe the best soloer class, you can heal yourself plus do great damages.
From lvl 1-11 you will have 10 skill points to add.
Raise your second skill to 10 - second skill lessen your mp use.
Ok here comes the critical and frusrating part of this:
After the 1st rank up quest (lvl 10) and when you are lvl 11 delvl back to lvl 1, you will lose all your skill points you added to second skill.
Now lvl back to 11 to have 10 skill points again.
Raise your sixth skill to lvl 10 - sixth skill raises your magic/skill dmg/power.
From lvl 11-21 you will have 10 points to add.
Max your sixth skill [max lvl 20] - Your magic dmg will be rose by 40%.
From lvl 22-30 you will have 9 points to add.
Now raise your second skill again to 9 - important since from now on you will need to rely on your skills.
From lvl 31-35 you will have 5 points to add.
Raise your second skill to 14.
From lvl 36-40 you will have 10 points to add.
Max second skill [max lvl 20] and you will be left with 4 skill points.
Add all to first skill - regenate speed.

Bladesman- Bladers are great tankers due to their huge amount of def and hp. Bladers may lack of dmg in beginning but later on they are able to use strong blades which allows them to do great damages. This mean at high lvl (60+) bladers need to rely on their equipments alot. Bladers are great at either solo or in parties. At lvl 60+ other characters start to need parties to lvl effectively, but bladers can solo effectively too.
At beginning bladers do lack of money, unless you sell all the drops/crystals to higher lvl players or npc them. Otherwise it is hard to keep on with pots and decent equipments. Some of the quests will be hard for bladers, thats why they usually need a healer to aid them on quests.
The most disadvantages for bladers are lack of attack speed or attack dmg/rating.

About Bladers build, there are alot of them but I'll show the one Im using and is most popular blader build in VN version:

*Note* All skills are passives, you cant raise the active skills.
From lvl 1-35 you will have 34 skill points to add.
Max the first skill [max lvl 20] - the first skill raises your min damage, as bladers lack of dmg, they need this skill to raise their dmg.
Add 14 points into third skill [lvl 14] - third skill raises your attack speed, as bladers are fastest attackers after swordmen, this skill will raise their attack speed to almous same as swordmen.

From lvl 35-60 you will have 25 skill points to add.
Max the seventh skill [max lvl 20] - the seventh skill your chance to do criticals.
Add 5 points to sixth skill [lvl 5] - sixth skill reflects the dmg you get from enemies back to enemies.
You can add more to sixth skill after lvl 60 if you want.

Swordsman- This guide is from other forum, i just want to share with you guys. It had been made by a pro vietnam SOF player

Swordmen are the most balanced character ingame. The attack dmg of them are greater then bladers but weaker than spearmen. Also the tanking ability of them are greater than spearmen but weaker than bladers. Swordmen are the master of attack speed, they need to rely on attack speed alot. Swordmen as many other characters also need to rely on parties after lvl 60 to be able to lvl effectively. Swordmen cannot solo that great compared to bladers.

A best swordmen build in my opinion:

From lvl 1-6 you will have 5 skill points to add.
Raise your first skill to lvl 5 - Raises your attack dmg by 5%.
From lvl 6-16 you will have 10 skill points to add.
Raise your third skill to 10 - Raises your attack speed by 20%
From lvl 16-17 you will have 1 skill point to add.
Raise your sixth skill to 1 - Im not sure about this but I think something about lowering the dmg you get.
From lvl 17-18 you will have 1 skill point to add.
Raise your second skill to 1 - Raises your evasion by 11%.
From lvl 18-33 you will have 15 points to add.
Max your first skill [max 20] - Raises your attack dmg(strength)
From lvl 33-53 you will have 36 points to add.
Max your seventh skill - You have 25% chance to leech your enemies HP.
From lvl 53-72 you will have 38 points to add.
Max your second skill - Raises your evasion.
From lvl 72-91 you will have 38 points to add.
Max your sixth skill [max lvl 20]
Than there is some point left, add the skill you like.

i take no credit for these guides... i have taken them from ******* provided by Hayac... i take no credit what so ever

I'll add experience from bowman (lvl 21 ^-^)

The sof ******* link by E-3 gives a lot of good info and the two builds are very nice, but heres my hands on experience with bowman

So far my abilities are:

13 bowstring (1% per skill so around 13% min dmg)
6 eagles flight (1% max damage per point, and range by .05)

Balancing out but maxing both before going for critical abilities (Lethal blow and vunerable point)

Its probably vital to raise eagles flight or improved bowstring at the beginning (Ive seen another bowman snipe bears and wolves using eagles flight without even getting hit, not sure what lvl though) I dont know which is more vital, but I would put up eagles flight to a satisfying level before concentrating on improved bowstring. (more range too)

Im planning to max both (eagles and improved, since they both increase dmg as well as more range before the monster dices you >.<)

On the Burning Wrath, I rarely go into rage or anger, so again it depends on player. There may be builds using the rage bonus though, but bowmen arent actually made to go upclose and personal. (Id never really invest in this skill...for some reason even if it does last quite a while.)

Same with accuracy. I dont really think its needed at low levels (perhaps later around 35) but you can always buy acc. rings if you are really missing out on monsters. (I read the ******* and it increases atk a little, so its probably a nice ability after eagles and improved)

On Bhuddas Blessing (.....increase hp...) I know its nice to increase hp, but so far I dont really think its needed in lower levels, just invest in enchanting armors with def or dodge options, and you should recieve less damage. (although it may be useful in higher levels ie. 35 if youre not going for critical ability. Theres probably a point in the game bowmen are going to get hit more for half their lifebars, and hp increase will save you from dying before you can even repot your lifebar)
