Man, it makes me lol when Americans talk about their "freedom". This is from the people whose government spies on their emails, phone calls and even what they read from the library. You cant get a beer till you're 21 for ****s sake. Someone even said the other day that texas made it illegal to sell sex toys. Freedom, lol. ****ing police state.

In truth, saying Americans referes to both North American born people, and US citizens.

Oirganally, the US was considered "These United States", simply put a united faction under one goal, rather than a country onto itself. That was so untill the Civil War, when he US was truely referenced as a single country.. Which is why US citizen are commonly referenced as Americans. What I mean is, you can't say "United Stateians". Just like how people born in the UK are still refered to as English.

However, I do have to agree that there is a lack of freedom in this overly organized world today. But that reference about s-toys in Texas is false. Laws can only limit who can sell them and where they can be sold. (I hear on the radio all the time about the "Gas pipe" always advertising their store in Dallas, which sells such s-toys.

Haha Ya U.S is not as free as it used to be. But it's still pretty damn good, U.S like trading there freedoms for Security from "Terrorists". I was raised not to trust my government And i see no need to start today.
