Ok, yeah this is just an excuse to blab my @ss off really.. I've decided to give FFXI another chance, this will be about the 4th time I've gone back to it lol. Which imo just says something which is I really do like this game, I love the music, graphics and races, the game is great, what isn't so great is the majorety of the community. However, I believe that with this new choosing your own server at character creation might eliminate that problem since we can pick and choose and find a decent community on one or two servers and stick to them. So yeah, once again I am returning to Vana'Diel for one last try, hope to see some of you there

Cool, the worst thing happened to me when I started my free trial. My PC broke. By the time I was able to get a new one my trial was over and I didn't want to pay for it if it wasn't good.

The thing is alot of people say the game totally sucks and that it's a major grindfest. I don't really care about grinding as long as it's fun fighting, and they have some good missions and quests in between.

FFXI does't suck!! Whoever told you it sucks has serious mental issues. It's my all time favourite MMORPG.

Oh, and come to Remora server. I can give you a pearl for my Linkshell and I can help you out with stuff. ^^

lol soren werent you the 1 that wanted to quit cause he was low lvl and didnt had good spells ?

Dark, that was when I quit RDM cause I couldn't afford Dispel....>.>
I begged for money in my LS and they actually gave it to me!! xD (I'm not a beggar by nature, though, really >.>)

ok, i bought the game but i havnt had the chance to play it. ( no credit card ) i've heard people syaing this game is dead, so is their alot of people playing it?

...been meaning to play this game for some time now (am a big fan of Square, ever since FFAdventure on the Gameboy), however i dont wanna let my being a fan get the better of me.

a post there said if i liked FFXII then i'll like this game... of course i liked FFXII, Fran is all the reason i need to like it.

unfortunately, my attention span for FFXII was kinda short... didnt even make it to Giruvegan.

so... what draws you into FFXI (aside from being SquareEnix fans from their console games)?
