Is there any way I could import an mp3 file into FL? I hate converting mp3's to wavs, then importing it into FL 'cause it becomes sliced in so many complexed little wavs.
If there isn't a way for that to work, are there other programs like FL that can do that? |

Yes thar is. Depends in what way you want to use that mp3. If you wanna use it to play throughout the whole song, go to playlist, and click the rectangle with vertical lines at the bottom. Then find your mp3 file and use it same way you use a pattern.
If you want to import an mp3 as a sound, I don't think there's a way to actually import it, but you can just drag and drop your mp3 file into Fruity Loops\Data\Patches\Packs\FOLDER\ and it'll work like any other sound. |

when you get it in the fl folder, you can drag it onto the bottom part of the playlist (useful for vocals), use it as a sample by dragging it onto the sequencer (useful for using as samples) or open it with the slicer (useful for beats)

Alright, thanks Shade and pixl. I'll try it when I get home from school.

It takes some learning though; the first time I used FL, I didn't know what the hell I was doing. xD
I still don't get the full concept of everything in FL yet. I'm a newbie at it. I'm learning FL to remix music into trance/breakbeat/techno. :P |
