Default Work on Vista?

The computer I want to buy comes with Windows Vista. And I don't want to go buy XP just to play games. But I am trying to see if all the games I want to play will work on Vista. Just so I can know what not to buy.

So far, I know Guild Wars works on Vista... I still don't know if Voyage Century, Warcraft III + expansion, and Battlefield 1942...

So, does Voyage Century work on Windows Vista?

No one on the general forum knew if Voyage Century worked. So I thought I would ask if the game worked in the forum specific to the game. So then everyone on this forum plays it and they might have Vista and answer my question...

I dont have Vista, so my information is second-hand. From what I read on the Official VCO Forums, there are some technical issues with Vista, but if I recall correctly, some simple work arounds have been suggested by players in the Help Center.

Ok. Thanks for the info. So, what exactly do you have to do to work around that? Or is there a FAQ or something about it on the VCO website?
