Default The Sky Cycle - Pedal-Powered Roller Coaster..First Roller Coaster where you pedal!

Source: http://www.trendhunter.com/trends/th...oller-coaster/

This is soooo cool! I want to ride this baby!

Quote:
The Sky Cycle is a human pedal-powered roller coaster at an amusement part in Japan. Rather than simply closing your eyes and screaming for the duration of the ride, the only way off, is to pedal you way to the finish!

They call it Skycycle, one of the amusement rides at Washuzan Highland in Okayama, Japan. It's located at the Washuzan Highland Park the Okayama prefecture. The bridge is the Shimotsui-Seto Bridge. (ubergizmo)

Thats stupid. Nobody goes on roller coasters to pedal themselves around... And what if you go down a hill? You'll kill your feet.

Hence why America doesn't make them

haha, j/k I love you japan!

All in all it doesn't seem like a great idea. We ride rollercoasters because they go super fast and give us such a rush. If I want to do this I can go to the gym and hit one of those bikes... or go on a cool mountin bike ride!

thats why it is made, because its unique. + it'll be a sort of view thing. pedal around, while looking at some nice scenery. its not all bad.

until SOMEONE from behind with awesome leg strength peddles the hell into the back of your ...sky..backthing...and starts pushing you forward. It all goes to hell when he starts biking faster and speeds you downhill where you fly off into one of those kiddie pools. Sadly the water is too shallow and you die.

Alas, I wish I had more things to do in college.

it would be good if they install this kind of roller coaster in fitness centers.
