Things you need
: Photoshop A Idea and some skills.. First, you need an idea, visualize how your signature will look like in your mind, find a render and an abstract (that will be your c4d) http://www.planetrenders.net/ has lots of sources of renders and abstracts, but before you go straight into finding renders and c4ds, sign up.. (Signing up is rather important since if you don't sign up you won't be able to view the enlarged version that has transparency) Once you sign up, look for a render, I would reccoment renders that has actions (like some anime character jumping and holding a sword ready to create a impact on the ground or something, and not those renders that just hold a gun and stands still emotionlessly, also try not to get renders with a big clothing that it stretches so much it takes up the whole signature space), also try to get a render that goes with the visualized idea you had.. (When you find the render, click on the picture of it to enlarge it, right click- save picture as and find any location to save it in that is ascessible to you) now, find an abstract, again- planet renders has a huge source of abstract, you can get a good one there- do not get abstract that is wayyy too messy, get those that you know will fit in, visualize it anyways, once again- save the abstract into somewhere you can ascess- Now you can start photoshop if you hadn't do it earlier, 'open file' those picture you saved, check if they are transparent- now create a New file with your preferred file size (I usually go for 380 x 130 pixels) use the select tool and just like pencils, draw around the render/abstract such that you get the picture of the render, yet not the logo (If there is), now, paste it in the new file you created, if its too big, undo, click on the file whereas the render/abstract is- hit Image -> Image size, and bring it to a smaller size (ex : when my signature is 380 x 130 pixels, I change the image size to somewhere around 380 x ??? pixels) than select the render/abstract again with the select tool, preferably in pencil format, copy, and paste it into the new file, It should fit in, If it doesn't - Image --> Image size, and mess around with it untill it fits, now- Abstract c4d, should be below the layer of the render, than create another layer below abstract and do whatever you want to it, apparently I just create a black/blue fill to that layer, now modify your render and abstract, change the blending modes, put in lightnings, mess around with them using Filter --> Anything you want --> Anything you want, If it aint right just undo and try some other stuff untill you get to what you visualize in your mind- simple as that. |

thats why he made the thread and thats where we come in....... http://www.deviantart.com/deviation/...+age_scale%3A5 look in deviant art. although most of the c4d tuts are abstract c4d art. you can still learn to apply the render or pic that you want to use
