i have no idea, must be that usp that i borrow from my friend, some of that file may contain virus... arrr... im so going to kill him....

Nortons sucks. It takes up too much CPU when it's running.

There are better Anti-virus programs out there.

I remember a website did a test before, testing 20 Anti-virus programs. Nortons came 17th.

The program that came 1st and 2nd cost quite a lot though, but the 3rd one was free (shockingly enough).

i used to use NAV and it although was quite good but ultra big and slowed down my performance.

i do know norton does take up alot of cpu usage, but since it was free (came with the laptop), and recently it just expired... but norton does have it adventage like up to date virus defination and such...... correct me if im wrong.

If it has an expiration timer, then it wasn't free.

i had the same kind of virus, but i killed it. i suggest u buy a norton antivirus in any store like futureshop, bestbuy... watsoever.

Norton is one of the worst Anti-Virus programs out there.

Assuming yer an avid game (hence the OnRPG forums), I'd suggest downloading Zone Alarm. It's a free anti-virus tool that to my knowledge has no expiration date. It notifies you whenever something connects to the internet and asks if you'd allow it or not.

It also detects viruses quite well. Quite useful
